GLOBAL AFFAIRS HOSTED THE Global Affairs Hosts Third Annual Pre-Grammy Benefit Gala and Red Carpet In collaboration with Godfather Entertainment and All We Do Is Work, the Jan. 31, 2026.
Global Affairs set the tone for Grammy weekend with purpose and power, hosting its third annual Pre-Grammy Benefit Gala and red carpet on Jan. 31, 2026. In collaboration with Godfather Entertainment and All We Do Is Work, the congratulatory affair brought together like-minded professionals from diverse industries committed to raising funds for criminal justice reform and honoring globally recognized changemakers.
Held at Gravitas Beverly Hills, the private, black-tie, invitation-only event reflected an intentional focus on impact. Executive producers Dasia Harris and RJ Lewis described the evening as a “people-first experience — one that honors global icons with care and excellence, creates meaningful global connection, and channels real resources into a mission that matters,” according to a press release issued by publicist Yvette Morales.
The gala raises critical funds for organizations dedicated to preventative programming, educational development, job training, and policy reform within the criminal justice system. Beyond fundraising, the evening celebrated excellence in worldwide philanthropy and cultural leadership, recognizing individuals whose influence drives measurable, positive change.
This year’s honorees included:
Alice Johnson — Global Criminal Justice Reform Award
Swizz Beatz — Global Musical Impact Award
Mona Scott-Young — Global Cultural Icon Award
Michael K. Obeng — Global Humanitarian Award
Imene Meziane — Global Advocate Award
Larrance Dopson — Global Cultural Shifter Award
Maame Efua Houadjeto — Global Ambassador Award
During Grammy weekend, when the entertainment industry converges on Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards, Global Affairs has positioned itself as a key intersection of culture, commerce, and philanthropy.
The platform’s growing influence builds on the success of its 2025 celebration, held at the Goldstein Residence. That event raised funds for wildfire victims, Los Angeles firefighters and first responders, orphans, the Disabled Firefighters Fund and firefighters’ widows. The evening featured appearances and performances by Chanté Moore, V. Bozeman, Kenyon Dixon, D. Smoke, Gambo, Jay Park, uniting music, philanthropy, and community impact.
As Global Affairs continues to expand its national and international footprint, the annual Pre-Grammy Benefit Gala stands as more than a celebration. It is a convening of consensus builders and cultural architects committed to transforming influence into action — and recognition into reform.
